Specialising bespoke cakes, Abe’s Cakes Ltd in Swindon, Wiltshire, is inspired by French pastries and Indian sweets. Not only focusing on the decoration of the confectionary, we work to create delicious cakes full of taste and constantly push the boundaries to discover new flavours. You can choose from a range of alcohol-infused fluffy sponges and cream cakes which include, Grand Marnier, Malibu, and Pina Colada, other tempting flavours include mocha, mango, and butterscotch. What’s more, we believe that everyone deserves cake, that’s why we offer a broad ‘free-from’ range for customers with special dietary requirements.
With prestigious 22-year background in the cake and pastry industry, Abe’s experiences and skills stretch across the globe and are a constant inspiration for his creations. Starting at the five-star Taj Hotel in Chennai, Abe found his talent for baking. He soon joined one of the Celebrity Cruises, where his skills flourished, perfecting recipes for the onboard Michael Roux restaurants.
In 2006 Abe moved to the UK, where he settled in the Donnington Valley Hotel. From here he established a renowned reputation for his sugar technique and dramatic chocolate sculptures. He created eye-catching edible displays, this lead Abe to win a string of awards at the Salon Culinaire International de Londres.
Abe left in 2012 to establish his own chain of eateries across the region. This is where Abe’s Cakes Ltd was born, creating personalised decorated cakes and pastries for customers across Swindon. Abe’s Cakes Ltd operates alongside Glace Fine Foods, who provide chocolate sculptures and pastries for luxury hotels and fine-dining eateries.
